International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) qualified members would be entitled to scholarship grants from Workshare, so that these members may be able to attend the 2011 ILTA Conference which would be held in Nashville, Tennessee. Three scholarships would be given to those members who would be qualified.
The scholarships would provide around $2,500 to members, which would cover their travel costs including their hotel accommodation expenses. This year is the 3rd time that Workshare has given scholarships to ILTA members.
Randi Mayes, ILTA’s Executive Director said that the annual conference underscores their commitment to peer-networking and education. They are delighted at the scholarships provided by Workshare in order to help their members attend the said conference. He further said that ILTA really appreciates the continued support and the scholarships that are offered.
Current members of ILTA could apply for the scholarship grant to the conference. The grant is non-transferable and could only be used by the person who applied for it. The Conference would include various educational sessions, the focus of which is information management. It also includes sessions on organization management. Operations for desktop and applications are also included in the conference. And, there would be around 180 vendors related to the legal industry that would be demonstrating their products.
Workshare CEO, Scott Smull said that, “The ILTA conference is a great industry event for legal IT professionals to network and share experiences.” He also said that they are proud to give back “for the 3rd year in a row and help ILTA members attend.”
