New Brand Identity of the Independence Chamber of Commerce Revealed
Social outlets and communications have been utilized by the Independence Chamber of Commerce in order to provide their members and also the community additional access to significant information. These undertakings made the Chamber look more modern, coinciding with its mission.
According to Teresa Freeland, the Vice President of the Chamber, “The Independence Chamber of Commerce is your Chamber.” She added that the Chamber supports those who own businesses, employees of a business, living in the community or work in the area. Their new logo, along with their mobile applications and social sites reflect it. She further added that, “Our involvement in the community creates that.”
Redesigning the Chamber’s brand was a concerted effort put in by the board, the staff and the members. The importance was placed on creating a logo that actually reflected the Chamber’s mission and vision. Kelly Lightfoot, Ampersand’s Owner and Creative Director, was consulted by the chamber.
The new brand identity of the chamber exemplifies the body’s greatest goal, which is, to support local business. Lightfoot said that, “With the modern illustration of our local cityscape, we also see a blending of the diverse grouping of businesses which all come together under the banner of the Chamber. The colors of our new logo also represent our ‘we-mean-business’ side, with steel blues and our approachability and growth with the green.”
The logo and the Independence Chamber mobile application were displayed at the 39th annual Santa Cali-Gon Days Festival for the community to see.
