New York – Two stalwarts in the legal research industry joined Bloomberg Law, a real time legal research system. Lou Andreozzi shall be the Chairman of Bloomberg Law, while Larry D. Thompson, PhD, shall be the chief operating officer. They will play significant roles in further expanding the potentials of Bloomberg Law.
Looking at the background of the two executives will define their expertise in the said fields. Andreozzi had been the CEO of IQNavigtor, Inc. He was also the CEO of LexisNexis North American Legal Markets. On the other hand, Thompson was the Senior with The Sterling Group 925 LLL. He was also a Senior Vice President at LexisNexis.
Andreozzi, a leader in legal research, will be providing strategic leadership to expand Bloomberg Law. Thompson will be responsible for content, sales, data and relationships.
The head of Data Products for Bloomberg, Beth Mazzeo said, “Lou Andreozzi and Larry Thompson are among the top executives in the field of legal research and together they bring extraordinary strategic expertise and deep market knowledge to Bloomberg Law.”
Andreozzi said that Bloomberg Law would be bringing the same technology and analytics to the legal research world.
In a statement made by Thompson about Bloomberg Law, he said, “I am confident it will change the legal research playing field with its expertise in data, technology and its extraordinary financial news and business analysis.”
